There are *far* too many businesses that expect to make money via Internet subscriptions. Consumers already pay subscriptions for (1) landline ISP, (2) wireless Internet, (3) CATV, and (4) cell phone. Other business that already offer subscription services, or are considering them, include (a) newspapers, (b) Internet Radio like Pandora, (3) online music like Rhapsody, and now video sites like Hulu.

We love the information highway, but don't expect us to pay a toll every five miles!

How about a modest increase in the number or length of commercials.

News Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch is a fool. How can he not see how illogical it would be to charge? Rupert is not only a fan of Pay-Per-View, he is also a big fan of being a dickhead. I vote for the boycott option.

Businessmen just don't understand the web. The only reason Hulu has traffic is because it is free. What happened to making money off of new advertising strategies? This is the beginning of the end for Hulu.

Indeed, once Hulu starts charging fees, they have no advantage over Itunes, or the network websites which post the shows for free. The only benefit Hulu offers is the convenience of having all shows consolidated on one site so users don't have to search for them on the interweb. There is no reason to pay for this service.

You seem to have forgotten the "I will no longer use Hulu if they charge a fee" as a possibility.
