    I assume they're still in New Orleans, so I felt none of your titles suggested that city. . If not , ignore my title suggestions. As you know the French and Sapnish in N,O at that time called themselves Creoles, the maning not what it is today. So I'd use Creole in the title.
    Creole Captive (Because she is}
    The Creole Captive And The Vampire
    Creole Vampire
    Lots mor variations on this theme.
    Jane, who has a book out called Creole Betrayal set in the same time period-- no vampire but lots of darkness. .

    I think the titles are not really the best choice. You mention New Orleans. How about Cajun Blood Lust or some such, giving the reader the impression of the location. Or add in some French as your characters have that background.

    I agree with the above. The blurb doesn't match any of the titles you have. I do like A Craving For Blood.... or Blood Cravings. Or how about 'From Brothel to Blood'! ha.

    Hi Donica,
    It's my humble opinion that 4 out of 5 of these potential titles infer that this story takes place out west since they have cowboy, saddle and range in the titles. However, after re-reading your blurb, it's apparent the story takes place down south during the Civil War. I don't mean to rain on your parade, but it might be a good idea to start over and think up some new titles. I don't feel any of these titles relate to your blurb as written, and they don't entice me to want to read the story. I know how difficult it is to come up with the best title, and it could be just me, but you wanted honest reader opinions, right?
