How's your Marketplace experience?

Everything is pay, and mostly overpriced. I can't find a good calculator for calculus for WM. The best one I've used is spacetime but it's not perfect, by far. Panoramic's overpriced junk doesn't perform most calculus operations and it's crippled graphing is a joke!

The amount of free apps are very insufficient. Developers are also setting the price high in order to offset the subscribe fee of Marketplace, therefore I would not wish to put an free app if I have developed one too.

I think the work-a-round is to change the regional setting to UK or US then soft rest. Load the marketplace etc..... then change the regional back to you local and soft reset again...

Surprised with the results tbh. The marketplace is a complete joke with continuous problems. MS promised 600 apps on day 1 and when it launched there was something like 10 and that's in the US. Every country outside the US barely has any. The UK has the most in Europe probably with under 100 and a few of those apps are dupes. The pricing structure needs to be redone asap. Pacman is something like £5. I'm sorry but for a game you can play for free in any web browser should not cost such a rediculous price considering the iPhone gets some high quality games with good graphics, sound, etc for free.

In Poland we have access to 4 apps. Cool, huh? :)

I live in germany. However I use an English ROM from XDA-Developers. But I can only access german programs in the Marketplace. That brings the number of apps to chose from down to roughly 20. And this number is barely growing. So unless u live in an english speaking country, Marketplace appears to be pointless for now. Why is Microsoft so persistant to start everything new with a disappointment

Are there even 300 applications in there yet? Sure, I installed a couple, like the AP application, but most of the stuff I would've already discovered elsewhere, and the stuff that I did get from there I pretty much haven't used at all.
