Would you like to see a roundabout built at the intersection of Route 229 and North Main Street?

Just returned from 9 days of driving a large passenger van in Ireland. Counterintuitive as it may seem (no pun intended), roundabouts really do work well. The 229/29 Business intersection could use one. Anything that relieves the bizarre timing, or lack of sensible timing, of the traffic lights on 29 Business would be an improvement.

How do expect the driver here in culperer to be able to nagivate a turnabout when they can't get 4 way stops.

Roundabouts are counter-intuitive. They can be confusing to even a good driver and a roundabout in that area would likely cause traffic to back up worse now than it currently does. In fact, a roundabout would likely cause even more accidents. This is not Europe.
