FACEOFF QUESTION: Did President Barack Obama deserve them 2009 Nobel Peace Prize?

Just curious....about all of those who voted no-------HOW IS THIS A BAD THING FOR OUR COUNTRY?

Let me ask you this. What did Barack Hussein Obama do to deserve this award? He hasn't done anything since he was elected. The only thing he has done is go around the world trashing America. The Nobel prize doesn't mean anything anymore. Jimmy Carter won it for kissing up to the communists. Al Gore won a few years ago for his global warming scam, and now Obama wins it for trashing America.

Kenny, Because President Barack Hussein Obama has taken a wiser path than George Bush and certainly, Dick (Shooter) Cheney and has not sullied our country all over the world by committing torture, starting an illegal war and occupying another country, as the last administration. How would we like it if we were sitting here minding our own business and another country came in and bombed the hell out of us and then invaded and occupied our country. And please don't use that old lie that Iraq was part of 9/11 because that is absolutely not true. It was about the oil. We all know that. Most people would be happy that America's respectability in the world has been raised. Not elevated as high as it has been in the past but hopefully we'll get their again. President Barack Hussein Obama has taken the first step.

Conservatives are empowered by ignorant and easily fooled people like Mr. Kimble. These people would sacrifice their own children on the alter of ( insert political buzz word of the day) if they were told it was the patriotic thing to do. I believe they would actually be excited and grateful if America suffered another attack, then they could hoop and holler and say I told you so! Notice how Mr. Kimble uses the Presidents middle name. That is on purpose to play on racial fears of Muslims. He didn't use Jimmy Carters middle name! See how they operate on fear and misinformation?

All Obama has done for this country is get more and more people killed in Iraq. And force buisnesses to close down and people getting layed off, so he is the explanation for the unemployement going up. He is a waste. But who didn't know he was gonna get elected since he was black!!!!! WASTE that is what Obama IS!!!

I agree with Joe. Maybe the NO votes would have felt better if the award were given to a caucasian like Mr. Putin. If given the opportunity, who would they vote for. If you don't like the selection, don't blame it on Mr. Obama, he was probably just as surprised as you, but it does tell you what the rest of the world sees in our President, somebody reaching out for peace. I would suspect that any poll you put on this website concerning President Obama would result in a highly negative result. Afterall, West Virginia highly supported W both times in his bid to be elected President.
