USS Pueblo (AGER-2) is a US Navy technical research ship (Navy intelligence), boarded and captured by North Korea in 1968. She is currently still in commission.

There are more important issues with N. Korea then returning a scrapped 1940's era ship. N.K. believed this capture to be of national and political importance to show the US that they could resist us and win a small victory.
