Yes. A teen's right to privacy is trumped by a parent's right and responsibility to know.

No. The damage you'd do by invading his privacy would ruin your relationship with him.

Yes, but only if you can do it without him finding out. That way you have the best of both worlds.

Just a random sampling is enough. Don't read them all.
