Panthers beat the Redskins and are now 1-3. Is this a turning point for the team this season?

You have to be kidding. The Panthers were lucky to win this game. They still looked unprepared and uninspired until late in the game. Too many mistakes for a team that had 2 weeks to get ready. They should be 3 - 3 after the next two weeks and the talk of the town. Then, reality arrives with a string of losses and the firing of the entire coaching staff at the end of the season.

Play calling is absurd. Four straight running plays from the 2 yard line ending in a fumble as well as the usual third and ten draw play that never works. I watched all all of about 10 minutes at different times during the game. The golf was much more entertaining.

Are you kidding? This bunch of over-paid, under-acheiving blowhards, they tried to loose this game, first play of the game and what of all things--a fumble! It's time to let reality sink in folks, this team will be lucky to go 1-15 this season, we need the entire coaching staff and quaterback fired.

The audiences of WBT are the most negative people I have ever heard. Negative on politics, negative on any team that loses a game, negative on every subject. Lighten up people!

It is surprising there is another team in the nfl weaker than the panthers, thanks washington. Side note Mr Beason should replace Mr Fox as coach. While his play never reached his pay at least I say some grass stains on Mr Peppers shirt late in the game, first time this year, and Mr Fox was not happy about the dinner conversation.

We are positive for the right to bear arms, expect laws written by elected representative, regulations written by beauracrats, and people who receive $1,000,000 for playing a game paid for by the fans will perform to the best of their ability. I grew up as a 'Skins fan - when it was HARD to be a 'Skins fan; so I know what it's like to be a Panthers fan thru thick-n-thin. I'm cheering "Bootleg Jake" (!) & savoring a Panthers' win!

Who cares about this game when a much more critical game is underway....its the game between the Patriots versus the Socialists...the freedom fighters versus the tyrannites...games like football shrink to insignificance when you have President Obama and his Democratic colleagues attempting to take over America and assimilate their power by working within the political system to redistribute wealth to their voting blocks and by working to dismantle the capitalistic economic system in our country that has made us the world's lone military superpower and has made us the economic leader of the world. And one of the techniques they use is to focus attention away from their real goal and to focus it on something insignificant, like a football game, while all the while they are moving behind the scenes to sabotage something really critical to their game plan...WBT has helped to contribute to the success of the socialists by not covering the debate over the the takeover of our health care system in any competent manner...they publish propaganda from CNN and CBS like the recent report that the CBO scoring of the Senate Finance committee bill had a cost of $800 billion over ten years while reducing the budget in the outyears....nowwhere in their "report" was any discussion of the economic effect of adding another trillion dollars to our debt over the next decade...how many jobs would that cost???strangely there was no report on this...there has been no report on WBT Morning News of the quality of health care our Canadian and British friends are experiencing...wonder why...because revealing the truth about the quality of healthcare being experienced by those in socialist countries would adversely effect opinions on this issue....there have been no reports on WBT Morning News about the Constitutionality of a government takeover of healthcare and what the effects of this would be...and most alarming...there have been on reports on the long term outlook for Medicare and Medicaid...these programs are over $40 trillion dollars in debt and where is WBT Morning NEws' report on what the CBO says about this unfunded liability and its debilitating effect on the economy....strangely, there has been no report...why, because it demands drastic cuts in Medicare...our existing income redistribution program for health care because it is unsustainable...and why would we add a trillion dollars in the next decade to a program that is unsustainable and needs trillions in cuts as it is...that's all for now...time to change the channel to 1660....America's Morning News.

Don't count on wbt listeners to help you out, Jean. They are the kind who root against America and leave the stadium in the third quarter.

Hey, it's a win. They can be 3 and 3 shortly, and they played hard down the stretch. It was fun to see them win, and Jake made a nice hustle play to ice the game. It's a long season. Another dumb question by WBT.

I think the Panther's meshed well the second half. We made needed plays on defense and offense. If it weren't for some bizarre rule put in place due to the 1978 Raiders intentional forward fumbles, that game would have been 24 - 10. That score looks alot better eh? They played poorly in the 1st quarter, started to realize there was a football game going on in the 2nd quarter, then the team came out and played in the 2nd half. They have some work to do on both sides of the ball. I think the play calling on the offensive side of the ball needs a little work, but the Panthers going 7-9 or even 8-8 this season with a little luck.

Jean, I do not covet what I didn't earn, as I'm certain you do since it is the first thing you can think of to say. You cloak yourself in feeling sorry for people and are always reading and willing to assist them, with others money, therefore you assign yourself the pius right to judge everyone else.
