John is right, plymouth south-marshfield is a much better game. Last year they went 2-9 and currently they are 4-0, never before has it happened in school history. Plymouth hasn't beat marshfield in a couple of years and will have to battle to stay alive in the ACL. Their running back Gustafson has over 10 touchdowns in four games, and their lines are stacked both ways. Should be an awesome game. Vote Plymouth South Marshfield

hey alex andrews let me just tell u that psouth has athletes. go shake stefan gustafsons hand.. blaine or ben theisen (ben graduated and blaine went to tilton). shake jay sylva's hand (went to tabor), how about any senior on the team. or cody arrowsmith. the division of a team cant determine the talent of the team's players. the division determines how well they work together in order to win games, which puts them in tougher categorized brackets. some of the players with the same level of talent overshadow eachother. stefan is tearin it up this year with 10 tds in 4 games.. tell me that isnt talent buddy p.south all the way everyday allday.. marshfield has sick teams but this year that ends with all the sports programs at south u cant touch us any more we onna rollllll

Lawrence / Central should win hands down. Beside that fact that it's simply well deserved, the struggle that these two teams go through on a daily basis living and/or being schooled in an underpriviledged city is tremendous. Nothing is handed to them on a silver platter and their parents are definitely not white bread suburban moms and dads. We have the heart that the other schools lack.....hands down.

"bob".. we have pretty much the same thing here. our schools were so big that we had to redistrict so that now elementary is k-4 middle school is 5-8 and high school is 9-12 and we have 2 schools p.north and p.south. plus several alternative schools (night school and schools like that)

Honestly, it doesnt matter. as for the whole rivalry thing well thats for thanksgiving games. you probably dont even know how small the lawrence rivalry may seem to plymouth. we have a plymouth south and plymouth north school. biggest rivalry for the whole town, not just people who go to those schools. Its funny how when i left this survey we were down 87% to 13% and now we are up. From running track i recognize psouth and marshfield...they have decent programs. Their wrestling team is nice too. But lets not forget that Lawrence competes in D1 meaning better competition, and we have brought in basketball, volleyball, baseball, track, wrestling championships in recent years to the school. This lawrence/central matchup is one to really keep an eye on. Central comes in as one of the top 5 football teams in the state, and lawrence has one of the best quarterback/receiver combo in the state, With a couple speedsters in the backfield aswell,one who is a 10.*** 100m dash runner (that's fast in case you didnt know). Receiver is being scouted by BC and QB is among the top in the area for td passes and passing yards. Lawrence also beat chelmsfort the #11 ranked team in the state recently and are looking to do the same, to central. The rivalry of these two teams goes back years, and the fact that they have to share the same field, and other facilities for various sports, makes this a huge rivalry. Not as big as Lawrence/Voke. But pretty damn close. for the psouth/marsh people...I think a psouth/pnorth sounds like a better match up for you guys since it is all that you guys mention..psouth this pnorth that...big district blah blah blah so try getting that game on air, sit back and watch the lancers and raiders do it up on the 23!! lancer pride all day!!!!
Are you people serious? Plymouth South and Marshfield will be a great game. This is actually going to be a great game. marshfield has always been a powerhouse and Plymouth South has put together 2 second place ACL showings in the last 3 years. This should be a great battle. Everytime I've watched both teams its been interesting. Plus, they are wimps from private schools, they work for what they get, they don't pay for it!

CC is traditionally a power house and LHS is on the road to recovery Finlay getting back in the MVC with plenty to prove and the Athletes to prove it. with two area leaders in a QB and receiver and two of the fastes running backes in the state and playing in a top division. Lawrence will host the game of the season on October 23 with or with out FOX the question is will the world see it or a will they see a backyard football game ?
