Would another stimulus package stop the rising unemployment rate and create new jobs?



Yes. A package of tax credits would give employers – especially small businesses – the means and incentive to create jobs.

Yes. We need to do something to create jobs, but I worry about how much it will add to the growing federal deficit.

No. The first stimulus failed to create long-term employment opportunities and swelled the deficit – find a better way.

I'm not sure.

You need to add another choice, "The previous 'stimulus package' destroyed jobs, as all Government intervention in the economy will do."

All your choices imply that Government intervention could possibly create permanent employment. It can't
