Loved the Lord of the Rings. Liv Tyler had a part that suited her acting skills, she actually performed fairly well in this role.
I did not see the other movie nor am I familiar with the actress so my vote isn't very fair.
I loved the lord of the ring trilogy,and liv tylers role in the fellowship of the ring was excellent,I don't think anybody could have done it better.
