I think we learned that in Vietnam when we let the politicians dictate (appropriate word) how we fought on the ground.
Fight to win, and make it another state and be don with it. Those people cannot support a democratic system they never did and never will the area is too big with no infastructure, move them all to other countries and leave the area as a land preserve
