What are you reading these days?

Please take a few seconds to share what you are reading...any recommendations?? I am in the midst of "For Altar & Throne: The Rising in the Vendee" by Michael Davies & "Bogoroditza: She Who Gave Birth to God" by Catherine Doherty.

The Gift of An Ordinary Day A Mother's Memoir by Katrina Kenison. Much anticipated follow up to Mitten Strings for God.

I read a little bit of everything: the daily newspaper; I also subscribe to a bunch of magazines, including Faith & Family. My current book is Freakanomics, which I keep in the bathroom. I love reading to my 7 y/o and now she can read to me, especially seasonal books. Now that it's fall and Halloween, we've been reading that type of genre. I read alot on-line, too.

I am currently reading a couple of different Homeschool books for inspiration and ideas as well as Life Giving Love, by Kimberly Hahn

I'm currently reading "To Whom Shall We Go?" by Archbishop Timothy Dolan. I can't say enough how this book has lifted me up on my faith journey. I'm ordering his other 2 books that he's written too! One happens to be an Advent book, so it'll be perfect timing by the time I can get to it! "To Whom Shall We Go?" will be Christmas presents for every adult on my list!! Again, I highly recommend this book to everyone no matter where you're at on your faith journey.

I always have three books plus the Bible I am reading through. I read the Bible, one fiction, one nonfiction and one spiritual. My nonfiction is Michael Pollan's The Omnivore's Dilemma and it is an upsetting book but very worth the read. My fiction is Stevenson's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and my spiritual is Pinckaer's God's Way on the Beatitudes.

Other recent reads I have to recommend are Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre and Mother Theresa's Secret Fire by Langford.
