What would you do about Afghanistan if you were President?

If I were President,I would focus lot more on every angles and must remind myself it is the most challenge to face. If I bring the troops home, then there will be more and more Safe havens and in the process of the weapons makings surge. I would not want them to plan to hit United States and to fight against our own troops right on the soil, It may be as well as better to keep to downsizing safe havens and keep them in certain area rather than having spread out all across the Europe and to United States. Once again,I still don't have the military understanding background is what is the most important to have at this kind of the crisis of two wars.

Bring them home now. It's worse than Vietnam the way our moron "commander in chief" is huddled with a bunch of politicians trying to figure how to proceed without looking bad. We have guys dying over there and bo is lobbying to get the Olympics into Chicago. If bush had done this, we'd never hear the end of it. In fact we still hear, at times how he hesitated when he was first given the news about the attacks on the WTC. If I were in charge, I tell my commanders that they can have all that they need and give them a one word command Win.

I am getting tired of making a special effort to see Greta Wire and then it is not on. I guess I will not be trying again.

I voted to bring them all home but not for the reasons you might think.
This country and it's leaders lack the courage to win. They will kill our troops, neeedlessly. They don't really care, it is all politics for them, and death of our solders.
Served in Vietnam, and see the same group dragging us down here. Gen Lemay in 1968 told us how to win in VN, we waited until 73 to do and won. Then gave up our victory, but letting the North invade.

So I say bring them home now.

If I was the President (Barack Hussein Obama) I would admit to the American people that I am incompetent and have no business leading the government. I would apologize to the American people for the apology tour I made and for embarrassng them and for lying to them. I would confess my Marxist agenda and denounce it and all those who are part of it. I would immediately declare martial law and appoint General Petraeus as the interim president and promptly resign.

WE ARE TO EXPERIENCE A NUCLEAR ATTACK TO ISRAEL AND OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD AS WELL.

I watched a National Geographic (I believe) special on Afganistan over the weekend where CIA & Special Forces along with the Northern Alliance basically put the Taiban on the run.
How about keep the troop level near the same in major centers and employ those earlier tatics?
Have CIA & Special Forces doing the snoop~n~poop for the bad guys, light them up with the lasers and have the guided bombs zero right in on top of them, it worked before, should be better than offering a shooting gallery with our troops the ducks in the outposts.

Obama, grab your balls and send the extra troops.

What Obama should do is send all the TROOPS and equipment needed. Tell the General now win!

The potus needs to send more troops. Afghanastan must be held by US and allies. This country is essential to the world. Leaving and not having any military presence would open the door for not only the Taliban, but everyother scum that wants to take this country. Russia would love to have it back, this time with a victory. If the military leave, whatever residents that are there will be either killed or forced to fight. And, once we are gone, there's no way to get back in. Which leaves Israel and other countries that rely upon the US for support and protection. Since 1972 when terrorists openly attacked the athletes in Munich and began targeting, kidnapping and killing Americans, their goals to achieve world dominance has not changed, nor will it, even if you try to sit down and talk with them, as the current potus wants to do. Then being provoked with bold attacks in the 1980's, with the US barracks in Beirut, the first bombing of the WTC in 1993, numerous US embassy's being bombed, the dragging of our soldiers in the streets, the USS Cole, and 9/11, I think you'd have to be an idiot to actually think all this is going to go away if we leave Afghanistan. It's pretty clear what the potus is not going to do, as he hasn't acted yet on the request.
It's a defining moment for him, to actually be in the position to control the military, whom he despises, and set in place the agenda that he and his alliances have wanted for so long to happen to this country. The only issue he is having is: it's not as easy as he thought it was going to be. He alone now will be responsible for any bloodshed there and ere on US soil and that's what's holding him up. Maybe there is some sort of conscience in him.
If the General needs troops, then he must sent them.

I see this war as an urgency. Military advisors has stated as such. I can not understand or comprehend Obama's delay. Is he just so stupid he cannot rationalize or even think? Is he just so stupid he does not know who to consult with? Is he just so stupid he cannot trust the highest ranking on site military advisors? Is he just so stupid he is waiting for Michelle's decision? Is he just so stupid, he cannot think beyond something that is not in a book of instructions? Is he just so stupid that he is not aware his delay in brain activation is killing our brave and precious soldiers? Is he just so stupid he can only address a health care program which even he does not understand? Or is he just stupid?

Sometimes the answer to the questions is only half of what I what to see or say. Build up the troops to help boost the levels there. Evaluate the situation daily to see progress or lack there of. In the mean time decide on a clear plan to win or get out. Can not fight this war half way and expect to win.
