Now that the Fifth Street traffic circle is complete, what do you think of it?

We (my husband) think it is a waste of money. Slows down traffic moving through town. Look out for accidents in the CIRCLE. I did not see any cars parked along the street. Most buildings were empty.

Change takes a little time to adapt to. For the skeptical,give it a chance. Just remember to yeild to all traffic to "YOUR LEFT" and things will flow nicely. I'm a native Lynchburger that lived in the UK for 3 years,and that is all they have is traffic circles(no stoplights),and I nerver saw an accident in the circle as long as you follow that one simple rule. And as far as the desolate look of 5th street,things will change in that area also. As soon as the economy rights itself,money will be available for people with a dream to come. As long as our fine police force,along with concerned citizens keep the criminal element at bay,that area could easily become a number 1 attraction of the city. For all the sceptics,"CHANGE IS GOOD"!!!
