We are launching green label 401. Just kidding....sort of! Overwhelmed by all of the labels we decided to launch EcoMom Approved, a seal of seals. Basically EcoMom Approved stands for all of those seals.....helping to educate the consumer and streamline the good intentions behind the seal concept in the first place. When you see the EcoMom Approved Seal you know that all applicable best practices and standards are supported from organic to recycled to sustainably produced to non toxic etc. There are a list of 8 criteria that don't subscribe so much to the nuances of the more specific seals but to the broader intentions and implications of their methodologies. For example there are dozens of Fair Trade organizations as well as Organic label.....the EcoMom Seal takes the work out of it for the consumer by saying this is a good healthy product, sustainably made by responsible people. Look for the its debut this holiday season.
EcoMom is a hybrid company made up of the charitable partnership between EcoMom Alliance a non profit educational organization and EcoMom Incorporated a socially responsible corporation each dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles by empowering mothers to sustain themselves, their families and the planet.
