Do you trust 19E/Jive with Kris Allen's album?

Yes. They handled Daughtry, Carrie and Kelly very well.

No. They mishandled Taylor Hicks, Ruben, Blake and a boatload of others.

It doesn't matter. No one can guarantee a hit. You just need to be lucky.

I believe the productions company plays favorite and not having to utilize someone else potential, lack of marketing and just focus on someone they feel will make it to the entertainment industry. The production company should be fair and equal and spend the same amount of money to promote these well deserving individuals who has worked and great potential.

Kris has been given every advantage considering his 'talent'. Can't blame 19E if he doesn't make it. It will be because it was or was not meant to be. I see him as a lesser talent , but with proper grooming and shrewd marketing as well as the continued support of the 'training bra brigade', he may succeed. Good luck to him. But don't already start to blame 19E if he fails.

Live Like We're Dying is hideous! It sounds like the love child of No Boundaries and Macarena. No matter how cute and non-threatening the Training Bra Brigade finds Kris Allen to be, he will never ever have the gravitas of my sexy boyfriend, Clay Aiken. Never!!

Wow, the Glamberts don't even try to disguise the fact that they are working as a unit. The 'trainging bra brigade'? How cute. What would Glamberts be then? I can think of plenty of discriptors, but I will keep them to myself for now.

Live like we're dying is not hideous, love the song and the singer. I am on the fence at the moment about his management but agree that there is luck involved too.

Wow rickey, you're really trying to ruin Kris' career for posting pointless blogs/surveys like this. How dare you call yourself a part of "media" when you rule a bias perspective onto someone, you are just like Perez Hilton, you're nothing but a silly blogger who's trying to get attention of the whole world by posting some ridiculous blogs like this. You should never be trusted at the first place. If Kris singles/album fail to sell or the worst thing - be dropped by 19/Jive, we will surely blame you for doing that.

Chunkymunky,
Live Like We're Dying is not hideous. I'm an Adam fan, but I absolutely love Kris's song. I can't wait for that babydoll Adam's songs to come out, also. I wish both of them huge success. (And Matt, too!)

Vada,

Any time someone does not fully support Kris or state that he is "wonderful"; and any piece of crap he sings is "the best" or "awesome" ...then they are referred to as "glamberts". Give me a break! I am not a "glambert" and I do not think that Kris is talented or deserved t win, just like many other people. So calm down and stop tossing out your accusations. Kris is average, but I still hope he finds success only because I happen to be a nice person!

i think that seeing as kris is a mediocre singer, if he fails its his fault and NOT 19 entertainment's. 19 entertainment handled the careers of many idols successfully, so yeah, sucess is based on the artist's marketing power, which @ this point in time, kris seems to be lacking.

No..it is not the fault of 19..American Idol bringd out talented individuals to give them the chance to make it..It is up to the individual as to whether they not only have the talent but the showmanship it will take...When a person is talented and has what it takes, there will never be reason to defend the debut cd..or anything else the performer does..That performer doed mpi have that something that is unique to have people drawn to him or her. All anyone gets is almost like begging for that person to make it when in truth, the person is not that memorable. The reason I write this is because during Allen's set, people were walking out. It was sad because he is the winner. Where were all the fans? Walking to the parking lot? If Allen makes it and any of the other idols, it will be what they produce that is unique and memorable and at this point, Allen has not given anything memorable since he won. And if the song was that great..it will go platnum AND IT IS FAR FROM IT..SO IT IS BEST FOR HIS FANS TO STOP BLAMING IT ON THE OTHER IDOLS AND GO BUY HIS CD. iNCIDENTLY, THERE ARE OTHER IDOLS THAT ARE WELL WORTH GETTING THEIR CD'S...This whole bashing thing that happens every year only carries on to the next idol victims..

it sounds like people are already trying to make excuses, preemptively blame someone else, for Kris' failure to produce a marketable album. I mean, why "blame" 19E ALREADY. Give him a chance to succeed. IF he fails, it's his doing. Have a little faith, man!

Kris' album hasn't even come out yet and people are talking about him failing? The guy can't catch a break! I happen to love his new song and think he is extremely talented and I can't wait for his album. I'm of the opinion that he was the rightful winner of American Idol this season. People please.... you don't have to like him, but there's no need to bash him either.

Why is it that just because we watched these musicians on Idol do we get the right to judge their whole career? I mean seriously....do you comment on musicians that did not come through the Idol porthole? No...you don't. The show is over! Kris won, Adam is amazing...both will do very well. There is no longer a competition going on. There are just people with nothing better to do than to try and make sure they get their comment in....get a life people.....and that includes YOU Rickey! How about perspective....Taylor Hicks has been "unsuccessful" based on blogging terms. Basically, he is not driving a Bentley....but according to records he pulled down $400K last year....how many of you did that? Especially doing something you love. Before you start dogging a guy that is so talented and trying to determine the lifeline of his career....take a look in the mirror.

Hey Diane.....love what you said. I think we could be great friends! For the rest of you that just are determined to say bad things about Kris Allen.....be prepared to eat your words. He is a great talented guy and I think he is in for the long hall! Just wait and see. BTW....only a select few actually read this crap so this is not the opinion of the "real world". I just happen to be one of the few that live in both. LOL

Kris is no budding superstar and some of us are sick of pretending he has this brilliant career ahead of him. Understand? He is no Kelly, no Daughtery, no Underwood and no Lambert. I mean, he is fine...yes, he may find the same success as Taylor Hicks as Kris at least IS getting good publicity, but to pretend he is the same caliber as Adam is akin to opening day for "silly Season". He is "okay", "not awful" and seems like a really nice guy. It stops there.
