the votes are pretty evenly spread out right now... good.

None. I need to be outdoors. All the choices were the cooped up in a little airless room kind of job.

Justy.. i voted for general surgeon too.. my reason.. to help the people that can't afford to pay much, like when I was a kid, our family doc took what each family could afford, even if it was a homemade pie or some eggs from their hens. Life was simple but it was a kinder time in my opinion.

I'd want to be a senator of another state for the sole purpose of showing the rest of them how to do it right. (Oklahoma senators are already doing it right.) I'd not only do my doggonedest to kill the so-called "healthcare" bill and cap & trade, but I'd also propose legislation that would do away with congress people voting themselves raises. Of course, I'd be the most hated senator there, but who cares?

I voted for trial lawyer because I'm not smart enough to be a Chemical engineer or financial planner and I can't stand the sight of blood. I would love to be on the prosecutor's team on political corruption cases.

The financial planner is the only one with reasonable hours.
Like 9-5 ~~~ including a good lunch with a fundmanager here and there.

@ sal:
Times have changed.
No surgeon would do anything similar these days.
They're bound by hospital rules.
Or... are you talking about an old fashioned family doc? Yes- they can go the extra mile. Still. But it's rare.

To the lady who said you could be a trial lawyer cuz you're not smart enough for any of the other job:
:)

I picked financial planner........I am pretty good managing my own money and listen with fascination to Dave Ramsey and all these people who make 6 figures and are in debt up to their eyeballs. I'll show them how to save, save, save. I can't believe how much debt some people have on credit cards and continue to spend, spend, spend. It's utterly amazing. I personally don't buy anything unless I have the money to pay for it. And no, I don't have a mortgage.

One of these bloggers made an interesting point. All these occupations are inside the office kind of jobs. I voted for general surgeon. As a surgeon I could boss the nurses around and everyone else. They would have to hold their tongues and take it because..hey...I'm the doctor. And don't tell me its not that way. I worked in a hospital for 10 years.

rmd, sal knows things aren't like that now. Did you not read his whole post? He said that was how things were when he was a kid.

Put them in prison

I would like to be a cop, and put Pelosi, Obama, Reid, Frank & Dodd in prison, where they belong. Hopefully then some big bubba would rape and then beat the shit out of them every single day of the 50 years they should get for their crimes against America.
