She's a talented entertainer who wants to grow and do more things. Those who are in control of her career (record labels, agents, producers, directors) want to make sure that she's getting the most for their money. So as she comes of age she'll be moving to more adult aged attire, subject material, etc... sex appeal sells and everyone including Miley knows it.
Let's just hope that she doesn't share the same fate as Brittany; multiple failed marriages, pregnancies too early in her life, drug abuse, rehab, and a lagging career. Face it child stars have a very difficult time transitioning to adult aged roles.
