Our SOS needs to step up to the plate, but she won't.

President Obama refuses to be interviewed by anyone on Fox, but I don't think SOS Clinton would refuse to explain her side of this story.. or would she.

Article 239 of the Honduran constitution says:

No citizen that has already served as head of the Executive Branch can be President or Vice-President.

Whoever violates this law or proposes the reform, as well as those that support such violation directly or indirectly, will immediately cease in their functions and will be unable to hold any public office for a period of 10 years.

I would ask SOS Clinton, what is there about Article 239 that you do not understand.
The problem of presidents who never leave power is all too common among undeveloped countries, so a very strict prohibition against multiple terms of office seems appropriate.

Zelaya directly violated Article 239 by ordering an election to reform the Constitution in order to keep himself in power beyond his term of office. He was then removed from office as the Constitution of his own country calls for.

The Obama administration is aligning itself with with dictatorships like Hugo Chavez, Cuba, Iran etc. This is change we are getting. All of this fundamental changing of our country will eventually lead to this very kind of government. Obama only lacks killing Fox News and talk radio to silence the voice of freedom. If you like what is going on with chavez now and is proposed by Obama people the oposing press will be silenced. This will be written as either the generation who lost freedom or saved freedom. We must preserve our constitutions as it exist. God HELP Amercia.

I think we should stay out of it. I think it's always wrong to overthrow your government/president. The people who did that were wrong. If they didn't like what he was doing they should have a more peaceful way to settle it. We shouldn't treat wrongs with another wrong. It just makes it worse. That's the problem with freedom if we go out of balance and loose respect for our neighbor, our authority- as the Bible wants us to do. I think the US can give an opinion if asked but I think we leave it at that. I wish our opinion would have been more morally correct.
