Of couse they ignore fraud....they practice fraud every day themselves, fraud on the American people, fraud personally (Rangel, Waters, etc). And who do you thinks contributes heavily to their campaign funds....those who benefit the most from fraud and the taxpayer dollars that Congress just keeps rolling their way.

Greta, Who are you kidding? Congress commits the fraud!

The government has been full of corruption for years because no one will vote for term limits. If they all only had 4 years to work and couldn't be re-elected after serving they wouldn't be able to get entrenched. The Founders envisioned citizen representatives who served for a short time and went back to their jobs and farms. That way they had to live under the laws they created..not so today. None of the elected have to live like the rest of us and they should have to..they might take what they do more seriously. Also get rid of the boondoggles they go on during recess.

Of course they know that there's LOTS of fraud, waste and stealing of taxpayer dollars, but they all have their own priorities and don't want to call attention to the crime, for fear that taxpayers might wake up (like Teaparty) and hold them accountable. Congress is out of control and generally does not care in the least about the will of the people or our Constitution!

Obama says he will pay for Health Reform by eliminating fraud and abuse. Look what happened when IG Gerald Walpin uncovered fraud by Obama friend and supporter Mayor Johnson of Sacramento - Walpin got fired, the House oversight committee refused to investigate the firing, and no criminal charges were brought against Johnson. Look at Acorn fraud - did the government detect that? Look at Fannie and Freddie problems - did the government detect that. Mr President, is it any wonder why we cannot trust you????

Who are we to turn to in the event of another national crisis (not counting the one we are presently suffering under)? We have no means of unadulterated vetting of advisors, cabinet nominees, justices etc. We are stained with the ooze emitted by marxist and socialist moles, their fetid renderings are what we have been living under since the time of Wilson (a "Progressive").

Will our country survive the turmoil we are in as long as President Obama is in office? Charlie Rangels investigation has been going on forever. When are they going to get the guy for tax evasion and do something about it? If that was a voter you can bet that we would be sitting our rump in jail. They need to go after Geitner, Dodd, Franks, and anyone else who has problems with paying taxes, getting sweet heart deals, and using there job as getting the extras like some of these so called Congressman and Senators.
It is time for the voters to take their government back and to abide by the constitution. We have laws to follow and why don't they follow them just like we have to. No more two sets of rules. This has to stop.

As long as our congressmen/women refuse to investigate one another, there will always be fraud and corruption. At least now, the secret is out....most of the people we put in congress have over-stayed their welcome and the administration is showing them what real corruption looks like.

I strongly suspect in some cases there is payoff and that's why they appear to not care.

It would be Sooooooo Cooool if the American people took the penalty phase of Washington's corruption into the American people's own hands …. just like our fore-fathers did to the corrupt, over bearing, over taxing, Dictators in England.

The reason that fraud is over looked is that at any given time there are such large numbers of the members of congress that could be found guilty that they choose to cover their back side in the event that their own deeds are made public. It would be good to vote all of them out of office and start over. It really couldn't be much worse. If new members came into office with no ties to special interest groups just think how much less expensive it would be to be an American!!!!

Sure they ignore it. Most of the men and women we elect are corrupt. They have to put themselves in prison or turn themselves in.
