I think it's great that teachers offer to give extra credit for students bringing tissue to school. I have sent tissue to school every year for 15 years. I have a child at USC, Clemson, and one in Middle School. I know that there have been many years when only a few parents sent tissue, which was not even close to being enough to last all school year. Teachers can't buy everything, so if giving extra credit gets students to bring tissue to school GREAT! The mom complaining is also the one that would be complaining when her child didn't have a tissue to use when she got a cold. I'm excited about any kind of extra credit! Give this mom a few more years and she will be wishing they would give students an easy way to get extra credit. They have to write enough papers already!
