Career Poll: Quality vs. Quantity of Social Networking Connections?



I think quantity is key; people should err on the side of connecting with lots of different people so they can reach out and make lots of useful contacts, in return

I think quality is key; people should align themselves with a small handful of trusted contacts in order to protect their reputation and avoid over-exposure

The answer depends on how you use these types of sites, what you do for a living, and what your personal philosophy is with regard to networking
