I like the thing and if it's well-made of the right materials it could last
for decades, but does it really do a better job than a couple of things
that one already has? If it is the tool for Baby's First Kitchen then that's
good, if it's just one more to add to the drawer then there's nothing
multi-functional or sustainable about it. Part of sustainability will be
a degree of self-sufficiency and resourcefulness; you already have a
spoon (the small end) and think how pleased you would be to have
made a spatula (the big end) out of a pallet slat or a barrel stave or
a fallen limb or a compact disc or a credit card and a chop stick.
