Yes, I will vote today and everytime I get a chance until there are zero democrats in office anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took the opportunity last week to vote early.
Vote early and vote often is what I always say ;-)
until someone runs for office that is not owned by special interest there is no reason to vote..........................have you really looked at this bunch of pawns that are running for office.............they make you want to puke
As Senior Citizen above - Early and Often!
Kevin, you and people like you are why we are in the shape we are in. VOTE! Then next time vote them out, over and over till the elected officials get the message, you work for us. Otherwise the same idiots sit in office and do nothing, just like you. Thanks to all the Kevin's of the world. PS, don't bother to call talk shows, you opinions are now worthless and you the ones who call the most.
We will vote, even though there are slim pickin's because it is an obligation. Millions of Americans have served and died to make sure we maintain that right. Too many take freedom fogranted and the freedom to elect whomever we chose is something we take seriously. IF WE DON'T VOTE, WE HAVE NO...REPEAT NO...RIGHT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR GOVERNMENT BECAUSE NOT VOTING IS A VOTE FOR BAD GOVERNMENT.
after Al and Stacey, tune into 1660 at 9:00 for the Glen Beck Show.
thank God we now have talk radio worth listening to between 9 and 12.
good bye Keith, your show was old and boring
FedUp with Kevin's..........do you really think your vote makes a difference? ..............if so then your as crazy as the pawns running for office........."holier than thou" people like you make me sick
Holier than thou? Where did that come from? Anger at those who take voting serious? And all you have is throwing insults. And, yes Kevin, my vote, your vote they all count. You could be the one vote who determines the outcome.
I work out of town, andI actually called and asked for an absentee ballot, but by the time I got home and opened it, I had to have it returned by yesterday! I called and had it mailed to my house, but wasn't home until Saturday. Close, but my vote won't count this time.
At 7:00am this morning, no one was voting at St. Matthews Catholic Church in South Charlotte...I hope this doesn't mean that my fellow Patriots are not participating in their democracy today...maybe they just had a long night at the pub.
I'll vote. I'll vote every Da#@ day of the week to get Democrats out of office.
Not voting is like letting the waiter pick your entrée and then complaining about the food. Go Vote! It's the least you should do.
Jack, this is a primary, not an election.
I always vote to remove the incumbent, since this is the only way to ultimately regain control of the government by the people. This year is difficult since my gerrrymandered district only allows me to vote against two of the incumbents, however I will vote.
I hope people vote their pocketbook, and vote the Democrats out! They vote for a 4.5 million downpayment towards a train to nowhere. Democrats love to spend OTM (other people's money). Pretty soon there will be no OTM left!
Kathy, you need to get out your dictionary. An election is the act of choosing and this primary is the first chance the people have a choice, although there really isn't much choice in this city.
When you go to the polls remember, "Politicians are like baby diapers, they must be change. Frequently!!!"
There are good people running in the Republican primary. People like Tariq Scott Bokhari, Matthew Ridenhour, Georgia Belk and Martin Davis all good conservatives without ties to any special interests, Kevin. None of which have served as council members before! Your vote never makes a difference because you don't vote! You let others make the decision for you which is fine because uninformed people like you should not vote. When you do you ruin it for the rest of us, just look at the last presidential election!
Thanks Loafer! Your endorsement means something and, while I was going to vote anyway, you have saved me some time today that I did not have. Plus, I was thinking of supporting a couple of those you chose.
In NC and SC it makes sense to register as an independent, since both states have open primaries. For me, it is more effective to vote in Republican primaries and then vote for the Democratic candidate in the election. In the end this method will give us more moderate representatives. As you would expect, I always vote in every primary and every election.
60,000 tea baggers last weekend in D.C. versus 2,000,000 true Americans at the Obama inauguration. It's pretty clear who is energized. If people don't vote in their primaries, they end up tea bagging instead of attending inaugurations. Folks, I'll tell you a secret: The real power is at the inauguration. If you want to get there, you have to vote first.
what is sad is that less than 5 percent is electing our leaders, and we wonder what is wrong with our elected leaders. 5 percent of people that can vote probably listen to this station everyday and alot of them voice their opinion on all different subjects. go vote and make a difference.
Yes, I.M.Dem, and chances are that is exactly how the Republican party wound up picking a loser like McCain for their candidate last year. In effect disenfranchising the real members of the Republican party.
I hate to agree with you, pratt, but you are right, it is sad that we have a remarkably low turnout in the elections especially the primaries. We complain about our choices in the general elections but don't bother to register our vote in the primaries. How stupid is that?
I was #26 at 9:00 am in my voting place in South Charlotte - sad turn-out - how will we improve things if people don't vote?
Loafer, McCain became your candidate because all the alternatives were worse. Thompson fell asleep right after announcing, Huckabee was too religious for a national election, Giuliani could talk only about 9/11, nobody ever heard of Hunter, Paul was the crazy guy the party wanted to put back in the closet, and Romney was not a Christian. Keyes, the token black man in the party…well, enough said. That left McCain, and in good Republican manner, all real contenders dropped out early to make the party look united. Had the NC Republican primary been close, I would have voted in it. Just for the record, I thought Romney was the best Republican candidate, and McCain lost because he picked Palin. If McCain had picked Pawlenty, he would have won.
I was #121 at St Matthews in S Charlotte at 5:20 pm. It made me very sad when the volunteers expressed surprise that someone walked in the door. Of course, they did this in jest, but the point got across quite clearly.
Why? the democrats (in part due to the corrupt media) control this town. family has been in/around charlotte for, oh, since mid 1800s. Sad to see the decline. charlotte is bad (politically), getting worse.
