Does anyone remember what a Socialist or a Communist is?

Obama is a communist, he might just be the worst president ever.

I know what socialistic and communistic governments are and providing healthcare has nothing to do with these forms of governments. Maybe you don’t remember when employers didn’t offer healthcare and you had to buy it on your own. Every month you paid it like a utility bill. You all assume your company is to provide benefits but they don’t have to. I worked at a law firm in Washington DC for 8 years and received no health insurance because it was too expensive for our small firm. At that time I was in my early 30’s and a healthy male who hits the gym 4 -5 times a week and eats very healthy, no fast food. I paid for my own health insurance that I rarely used and I saw it go up and up and up. You people don’t get it and I’m very surprise that you don’t. Have you become numb to all the job loss in Southern New England? When you lose your job, you lose your healthcare? Most Americans live paycheck to paycheck and if you get sick once; a flu, get some blood work, etc. it can put you into bankruptcy. God forbid anything worse happens; you become a diabetic, have a heart attack, and get into an accident. You can forget sending your kids to college, any vacation, or any quality of life! Oh, that’s right; you can go into foreclosure and loses your home? My bad, I forget how intelligent you all are and that will never happen to you. Oh that’s right; Fall River real estate is on clearance, US companies cannot compete with foreign companies because of our domestic expense, labor unions are forcing you businesses to become less completive, and the dollar is falling so below market because President Obama was the one who ruined our surplus in the past 8 years. In conclusion and last statement to Scott and Fall River Blogger, have you heard of this; A small towns breeds small minds. Think about.

To Scott and Fall River Blogger, the US wealthy have you brain washed! They would leave you for dead if you were sick. O' they will or try when the time comes to deny your health insurance claim. Wakeup and research the subject. The intent of an HMO was to take your money and deny as many claims as possible. The middle class is decreasing and the majority isn't moving up!

David - I will not hire any employees because I would have to provide health care for them. I'm not their babysitter. People should be responsible for them selves. You worked at a firm, then buy your own heath insurence. You managed to pay your gym membership.

We can't compete with foreign manufacturs because of all of these government requirements. China has no EPA, No health insurance, no lawyers, no OSHA nothing to stand in the way of the people making a living.

Everything the government touches it screws up. Registry of motor vehicles, local building codes, Fanny May, Freddy mac, The border, public education, etc..

The Constitution put the power in the hands of the States, not the Federal government. The Fed was supposed to be small by design. If you don't like the policies in your state, you can move to another.
