Some may not like it because they oppose the public option and some might not like it because there's no single payer so this poll is hopelessly useless.

People who disagree support right wing lies, either knowingly or unknowingly;
profit from the current system; are paid to create fabrications against it.

First of all Obama doesn't have a plan. He is leaving it to a number of different committees to come up with different bills. All of them are flawed because they do not address one of the biggest problems and that is tort reform. The cost of health care could drop 20% over night if the lawyers who make millions by suing doctors for little or nothing were put out of business. Next is the problem with "public option" or more rightly called government run health care where millions upon millions will be forced to join as employers no longer offer health care at work. It will be cheaper for the employer to pay the fine for not offering insurance than to offer it. So if you like the insurance you have now, tough luck, no longer available and you can go on the government plan and wait 8-12 weeks for an appointment. Then is will only be at some clinic, none of the good doctors will accept 60% reimbursement that the government play offers. So I hope you clowns get exactly what you ask for, a piss poor public option that will make you wish you had thought this all the way through in the first place.
PS Come back in 3 months and we'll see if you still need that medication. You might be all better by then and you didn't really need it at all.

Health Insurance "REFORM" will only occur when the state legislatures are BANNED from telling we consumers what we can buy and from whom. Knock down the barriers that 50 different state legislatures have erected to please special interest groups that keep us from buying the health insurance coverage we want and that we can afford.

Interesting that your likert scale is out of order - "Agree" then "Agree strongly" doesn't match the options on the other end of the scale. Any reason for this?

Pretty pathetic effort here, but then it's just an internet poll.

Since the liberal democrats have made Maine a welfare state, and they seem to want to keep it that way, our state is heading in a very bad direction. If another government-run health care option gets pushed through, the major of this state will go on welfare forever.

Why do these a**holes who vote "unsure" even bother to be included. If you don't have enough information to make a decision, and you have a computer, look up the bills and read them then decide what you think. Its those types of morons that go vote for or against something and they have no idea what they are doing. Hopefully they are even too lazy to go to the polls or express their opinion to their Senators or Representatives. " Be alert, the world needs more lerts".
