it would be nice if there was a comment of "watched his speech, sick of the retoric and tired of him wasting the american dollar of failed plans."
or "didnt like his speech, thought his writers need to quote new sources"
or
"its amazing how voting for change led to the same old story so damn quickly.'

I think people need to give him a chance. The Republicans aren't going to support something that a democrat proposes because they are trying to get re elected. We all know we need health care reform but it will never get done because of the politics in Washington. We all need to research stuff on our own and not believe what the radio or TV entertainers tell us. I am talking about Liberal and Conservatives. He couldn't even give kids a pep talk without controversy because of the media.

Steve,
It is clear that President Obama was not your choice. So it doesn't matter what he tries to do to better our nation, people like you would be negative. Where were you when George Bush was running this country in the ground? It took Former President Bush 8 years to ruin this country but you expect President Obama to work miracles in 8 months. Please let's be fair or at least be honest, yes we have a black president get over it!!!

I think its unfair to say "the Republican" as a whole. I agree that some just won't watch him at all. But not all republicans are shutting him out. Furthermore, we DON'T ALL Know that we all need healthcare reform. See that's the beauty of this country. We all can have our own opinions and that's okay. It doesn't make anyone any less intelligent bc they don't think like you. It just means they stand for something else. POINT BLANK. It's pathetic how much people just want to put each other in a box and pretend we all think alike. We all don't. For example I am not a republican but I sure as heck don't agree with the healthcare plan. Furthermore, I can name about 10 Republicans that didn't care for all that Bush did or didn't do whatever you want to say while he was in office. Some of us don't just vote bc of our political party. Some of us vote bc it's a matter of what we stand for and where our morals lie. We dont just agree with everything! I can think for myself I won't let any stigma or political bias define me and what i stand for. What I mean is I won't agree with someone just bc we may or may not stand for the same party.
