President Obama missed a golden opportunity to set a good example for the students today. He should have opened his speech with an apology to the Cambridge police department for calling them "stupid", and then advised the students that they should never call someone stupid, especially the police who work so hard to keep us safe. I would have felt much better toward him as a person if he had did that. He certainly did not set a good example for children when he called the Cambridge police stupid and then refused to say he was sorry for his actions. If he is going to give out advice, he should learn from his own mistakes.
