My husband and I own a small business, a video production company. He works there full time while I work as a business operations administrator for a national company. I am certain our small business will make it, as business has picked up this year (amazing, but it has). My job? I report directly to the VP, so if the VP should go then I would probably get the same boot out. Nothing is certain in the corporate world.

1) I am self-employed. I "eat what I kill."
2) RE: the "stimulus" money which hasn't been spent should be used to refund Social Security and Medicare. That would accomplish Obama's stated desire of spreading the wealth around. I've been working and contributing to SS since 1962; that was an investment, not a contribution and I want it back either as a monthly payment or as a lump sum. I paid into M'care since it's beginning. I want that back also. Either way will be fine. I'm not giving it to the Chicago mob!!

Not worried at all. If you are between the ages of 18 and 70, and physically sound, go get work. Only lazy, parasites don't find work. It may not be the work you want, it may not pay what you want, take it anyway. If you don't find some kind, any kind of work, you are a lazy, fucken parasite. if you take free money (other people's tax dollars) from those people who did take the job they didn't want, you are scum. Go to work, even if you HATE your new job, because no one owes you ANYTHING.... AT ALL .... EVER... FOR ANY REASON!!!! Take care of yourself ... or die ... no big deal either way.

Whose to blame? For YOUR OWN downfall?

If that company is only going to exploit your labor and diminish your "living wage", FIGHT BACK! The comment above this is why the corporations have ruined this country. Be happy, accept your pay, stay a worker bee and then die, OMG. Never ask for anything or stand up for your self? The corporation that exploits you doesn't owe you anything and they know this and therefore have moved out of the country, assholes, that's why it's becoming ever increasingly harder to find work that sustains the worker class within the middle class in America. Our tax dollars are the only safety nets that are keeping this country afloat!!! The majority of people whom benefit from cuts and TAX dollars, it is not you are the lazy scum, referred to in the above comment, it's the wealthy corporations whose ultimate goal is to bypass the American system and expand globally. WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH KANSAS OR FOR THAT MATTER (WHITE PEOPLE)? The corporations are your enemy, not 13% of african americans or 5% of asians or 15% of latinos. WAKE OUT OF YOUR IGNORANCE.

Let's Blame Someone (Victimization)

If Obama used the "stimulus" money for your stated comment----> "the "stimulus" money which hasn't been spent should be used to refund Social Security and Medicare."<----Then wouldn't you all cry SOCIALISM with TAX DOLLARS, WOW how hypocritical, that you would want socialism only when it's beneficial for YOU. ************WHOSE TO BLAME? As you so "thoughtfully" commented upon while attacking President Obama ---------->"I've been working and contributing to SS since 1962; that was an investment, not a contribution and I want it back either as a monthly payment or as a lump sum. I paid into M'care since it's beginning."<-------- Then you should thank the Republican Administration for draining your "investment". WAKE OUT OF YOUR IGNORANCE. Blame yourself (PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY) for voting into office those Criminals that robbed your "investment", stop voting against your very interest, then blaming minorities, illegal immigrants, your neighbors, other religions, other countries, etc...etc... for your FEARS and ultimately YOUR DOWNFALL.
