Do you think anyone is going to change his or her mind about health care reform? or is everyone now fixed in a position?

Another loaded question that I refuse to answer. You didn't explain what might result in their changing their minds or not. First of all, I hear countless times that there is no health care bill yet, only talk or proposed bills or something vague like that.

If the talk becomes something people could agree with, then I think anyone would be subject to changing their mind. If you are asking if people would change their minds based on what is currently in the air, with no changes, then state that.

See how confusing your question is? I'm not willing to commit an answer one way or the other because who knows what you are actually talking about? I know your polls are not official polls, but if I give an answer, you might choose to use it in support of something that I don't agree with.

Say I answer people won't change their minds, then you could say that I believe people are dunces, dunderheads, unwilling to see any new view or new situation, and I don't believe that.

On the other hand, I don't believe that many people are going to be persuaded to change their minds on what they currently know about proposed health care just because obama makes a speech on tv or in the schools. I think they are not swayed by politicians but are likely to be influenced by facts, as they should be.

So, show the people real positive change, and see what they do.

Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together has their mind made up about the nuts and bolts of this "health care" bill. Of course, we said that before the election, too, and look at what it got us. As for myself, I don't trust this admin to write any bill unless we have the time to go over it with a fine toothed comb before its passed. Even so, I wouldn't put it past them to slip something in at 4AM after the bill was fully vetted by we the people. Don't trust em....nope....just don't trust em!!

Trying to change the mind of somebody WHO WAS STUPID ENOUGH TO VOTE FOR THIS EMPTY SUIT will be nearly impossible to do. They probably #1 Don't even know he's talking (when's he ever stopped) #2 Are either working to SURVIVE, HOPE AND CHANGE for a job lost, or partying. Remember the only minds left that could be changed are the same ones who voted on PURE EMOTION..

I think most people are still unsure of what the bill actually says, as keep hearing there are 4 bills now. I wouldn't trust congress with my life. This stuff coming out in the news is so scary it makes one wonder what our world is coming to. I HAVE NO COMFORT ABOUT OUR GOVERMENT AT TIS TIME IN MY LIFE. I KNOW WE NEED REAL LEADERSHIP AND WE DON'T HAVE IT IN ANY PARTY. WE HAVE CROWDS OF REGULAR FOLKS LETTING THE WASHINGTON POWER WE ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THINGS OR THE THINGS THEY ARE DOING.

I dont want any reform from this administration because their all nuts. I cant wait til 2010 in Nov. when the people get rid of these nutjobs like Pelosi, Reid, and all the rest that cow tow to Obama and think his chit dont stink. I dont trust any of them. When Obama said he would transform this country he meant it. But what really did he mean? And how? I dont think people were even aware of what kind of change they are in for. I knew because of the people he surrounded himself with. I hope that these democrats have learned a lesson and will think next time they vote. I have had so many people that have said they are sorry they voted for him no one wants his type of reform and that is why this country is rebeling against him and his approval ratings have plummeted. They are all out of their minds and full of evil.

That's another stupid question. Whose minds are you talking about? The public? Congress? The only ones who count are the people voting on the bills.

I think people have made up their minds about Health Care. I believe something would have to really change to see a change in attitude. The way things stand unless congress can put something together that we can all understand they are just pounding dust. They may resort to pushing something through but I think it may be the last thing they push. It'll be to bad if we have to fix it afterwards but even that can be done. I'm all for a two party system and I don't believe, if we had one, that things would have gone this far. Right now it's Dems or nothing.

NO MORE TALKS OF HEALTH CARE REFORM, UNLESS TORT REFORM IS DONE FIRST. It does not take a rocket scientist to know that tort reform is a major problem and the number one reason why health care is where it is at today. Physicians are paying extorting prices for malpractice insurance which many have dropped and have patients sign a waver letting them know that if they sue they will get nothing, Nurses have to chart more carefully due to lawsuits and hospitals are turning to electronic record keeping due to wording regarding pt care because a lawyer may very well twist the documentation by the nurses, who by the way are the next target for lawyers. the hospitals have to obtain and use equipment on Pt's out of fear they maybe sued for a pt getting a blood clot or sore or anything not there fault. pharmaceutical companies getting sued cause certain drugs may cause certain problems they deem a disability. towns across America cant even have parades cause the liability is too great and a lawyer is waiting around the corner just waiting to sue. If we are a nation of law's then we all should be entitled to free legal care first. the cost these entities have to pay out are then passed onto the people thereby the cost of health care goes up. So there is no issue of health care reform. there is an issue for Tort reform.

Obama has lost all credibility. His August Town Hall meetings were a complete fiasco. Anything he says at this point will be viewed with skepticism. Most of us are aware of the contents of the bill and any attempt to hood wink the public will be recognized very quickly.

HOW MANY TIMES DOES OBAMA HAVE TO HEAR THE WORD "NO" BEFORE HE UNDERSTANDS??? THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE SAID "NO". I WAS ALWAYS TAUGHT THAT NO MEANS NO. PUT IT TO REST OBAMA! HE'S THROWING A ROYHAL TWO YEAR OLD FIT AND WON'T TAKE "NO" FOR AN ANSWER TO HEALTHCARE!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Obama is just plain desparate. His failed attempts to try and fool the American people has fallen flat. Now he just can't be trusted on any issue.
