Why haven't you given credit to Glenn Beck in your stories about Van Jones? He spoke about this last week and yet when this was first mentioned a few days ago, the only thing you brought up was the "bad word" he used about Republicans. Give credit where credit is due!
There is presently great criticizm of the 'vetting' process. I believe that the president knows all about Jones and wants him in the White House anyway.
I am dumbfounded at the unprofessionalisn of some of those with great titles these days. How can so many things be swept under the rug and then finally all of these things are brought out. You can't just miss all of those things before making an appointment. I am not that political, but I can see that there are a great many things that don't seem right here and I am beginning to feel that we are in the hands of a bunch of fools.
A better vetting process should definitly be followed, and in this case congress should even be aware of the background of those being placed in such positions. Where was the Secret Service or FBI?...or were they just told to 'BUG OUT'.

Senate bill S773 which would give Obama a "kill switch" for the internet and private networks. This bill would also regulate the people authorized to install and manage these networks. Sounds like a serious infraction of our 1st ammendment rights of free speech. I seem to remember that Iran used the same "kill switch" tactics to quash dissent during and after their election. HMMMM I wonder?

What upsets me more than what is going on in the White House is the fact no other news media is reporting any of this except FOX. I do believe that he should lose his job, although I'm not sure how much that matters. Also, since Glenn Beck exposed Jones for what he truly is (a radical, Communist, America-hater posing as a "civil reformer"), Jones has yet to refute any of those allegations. For instance, his "apology" for his statement about all Republicans being a**holes - he never renounced that statement, he simply said that that statement was made before he joined the Administration and that so far that had not been his experience. Does that mean that he hasn't run into any Republicans since he's been on the Hill, or does it mean that Republicans magically stopped being a**holes as soon as he got there?

The red-baiting against Van Jones is an attempt to bring down an able lawyer and organizer who happens to be associated with "Color of Change," a group specifically critical of Fox's Glenn Beck. Beck of course hasn't mentioned he is trying to punish this group for criticizing him personally -- he's pretending to be on a public-spirited crusade. Google "color of change beck" (without quotation marks) and you'll see what I mean.
During the 2008 campaign I didn't trust Obama and I trust him even less now. Too many things have happened and I pray for this country every night. He is not an American. He does not believe in the American Way of Life. He apparently does not believe in the American Constitution. And he doesn't even eat hot dogs on the fourth of July. How un-American can you get?
Appointing CZARS is not in accordance with America's Constitution. What are the Cabinet Secretary's doing? Contemplating their navals? Why aren't the backgrounds of these CZARS being researched, reviewed and approved by the FBI? They do extensive background checks. So when is Obama going to be challenged? What are we waiting for? Christmas? Lightening? I am not understanding this at all. I believe that he has placed these CZARS in their positions to run the country as they see fit. And he is just a figurehead. The current two house "American" congressional system is just a by-product that he needs to get around. But he doesn't mind holding a public office or reaping the benefits of holding the public office. All those benefits for him - and you and I are paying for them. Personally, I think its quite disgusting.
I would assume that after 20 years hearing "God Damn America" when you attend Sunday services really and truly sinks in. It is unbelievable that while he was a US Senator he even attended this congregation. I think that if any true blooded American (let alone a US Senator) would have even heard these words one time, they would have gotten up, left the church/congregation, and never returned.

Just think about - the simplest of job applications asks the question "have you ever been convicted of a crime?" (believe me, I know - I've been job hunting for over a year now). In the past 16 years with a 2 term republican president preceded by a two term democratic one, both of whom were polarizing figures in this country, there was never the type of behavior that is taking place today - people bringing guns to public forums, angry and emotional shout outs at public forums etc. The discourse in this country over the past few months is a transparent example of racism. It has far less to do with political ideology than bias and bigotry. The preceding administration grew government, enhanced surveillance on the populace, and did a number of things that were unpopular to some, but the level of rancor, incivility and aggression (gun toting) are all new lows in the U.S. manifested by racists.
After looking at Candidate Obama's past associations, I was convinced that he was a Socialist, at best, or a Marxist or Communist, at worst. With his appointments of people like Jones, a known Communist, I am now convinced that President Obama is a Communist.

Whatever party is in power has a responsibility to all legal USA citizens to follow the Constitution because they only have momentarily control of government and have also taken an Oath to do so. To do anything else is a full blown effort to destroy our country. It is illogical to use two words that mean two different things to mean the same thing. This would be like me using the words orange and apple to mean the same physical object.

Democracies always self-destruct when the non-productive majority realizes that it can vote itself handouts from the productive minority by electing the candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury. To maintain their power, these candidates must adopt an ever-increasing tax and spend policy to satisfy the ever-increasing desires of the majority. As taxes increase, incentive to produce decreases, causing many of the once productive to drop out and join the non-productive. When there are no longer enough producers to fund the legitimate functions of government and the socialist programs, the democracy will collapse, always to be followed by a Dictatorship.
Many of F.D.R.'s policies were suggested by his right hand man, who said,
"Tax and Tax, Spend and Spend, Elect and Elect, because the people are too damn dumb to know the difference".
If our country gets screwed up we should hold the party that was in power accountable. Do you want to be part of that party? That question is to all parties.

Glenn Beck is a hero in my eyes. He is the only one bringing out all of Obama's associations. Van Jones should go and so should his advisor that approved of him and spoke so well of him. I am also an independent and I would suggest to you to verify your facts before you comment. The Bush administration approved the first stimilus package that bailed out the banks. When Obama came into office the second package was already approved his job was to sign off on it.

Both parties have failed the US in a number of ways. However, the behavior of the Republican Party scares me more than of the Democratic Party. It's a situation of "the lesser of two evils." Putting politics aside we are discussing a representative of the United States of America - which means US. No one in this position should have a history of such radical behavior. Others, including our 'friends' are looking and listening. Our congress should no longer live in Washington, DC. Instead, they should attend virtual congressional meetings while living and working, day to day, in their own districts. Are we to believe that Obama did not know of the radical views of Van Jones? Just like he never heard the racist preachings of Rev. Wright were he sat and listened for 20 years. czars do not go through the normal Senate Confirmation hearings and
therefore are not subjected to normal vetting processes. I believe this

There's nothing wrong with America Mr. Van Jones, there's just people like you, others in the obama (small "o" used intenionally) administration, and various media outlets that aren't worth the blood and lives that have been spent for their rediculous abuses of power and their poor judgement in exploiting the freedoms earned by better men and women than YOU all.

Just one more example of the monumental arrogance of Barrack Obama. He still believes that he can appoint all of his radical socialist, communist, tax evading comrades at will. He still believes that he is SO popular that no one would dare challenge him. Well the Kool-Aid has worn off and people are coming out of their collective comas and beginning to realize that the CHANGE that was promised was NOT what they had envisioned. Instead you have a president who is dead set on running the entire nation from the White House. The government take over of the automobile industry, the banking system, wall street and wants to have government run your health care. How scary that he now wants to "talk" to our children. we the people of the United States need to settle down and think. both parties have drifted away from their course to keep as a free independent people & nation. All of us need to understand this. does it make sense to have politicians in power that do not represent our Constitution? NO
lets say 20-30 years ago. what would we have thought or said if there were politicians that didn't believe in America? or were pledged to another form of government that may have eliminated us or our children from being here today. Would we or our parents have accepted that?
And for health care:
Do we need to do something to help those that do not have health insurance? YES, as a people we always tend to help those less fortunate than us. or should I say we use to. The answer is YES we should do something to solve this. However the majority of people feel the government is not the answer and I agree. We need to find another solution.
When it comes to your job, many aspects of your personal life can remain seperate from what you do or how well you perform your job.
What happens when your job is to give your opinion? Your opinion matters, your background matters, and how you think matters.
I am sure that a minister would not hire a satanist to assist in his work. If he did, I could complain to the minister. Who do I complain to about an American CZAR? Did my congress person appoint/approve of this CZAR?
Van Jones says that others tried to bring him down with lies! What lies? When you see someone in a video talking about their radical political views and these are the issues that brought him to resign, hows is that a lie? I'm tired of the deception and BS from all government especially from Obama White House.
