Do you have a CLEAR UNDERSTANDING of the Democrats health care reform ideas?

I don't understand it, but what I do understand scares me to death. The Dems don't even know what is in it. They simply want to pass it, no questions asked.

They don't want us to understand what's in the healthcare bill. Because if we understood it, we would realize that it was going to cost Americans trillions of dollars, we would all have poor quality healthcare (except for the elitists in Washington),we would have government control of our very lives, and there would be abortion on demand. They want us to be confused and stupid, just lke America was for the stimulus package and for the 2008 election itself!

Attended a town hall meeting with Sam Farr about Health Care. Talked with folks before it started and then listened to them during the Question and Answer period. I have read HR3200 bill. Before the town hall those on the Health Care Side said they never read the meeting but have a 1 page handout they the swore was all they needed. Those against the health care reform also mention they have read the bill. Seem those against the bill had a better understanding then those for it.

Even Farr mentioned is was not written for the average person to understand.

Exactly right. In selling an item, you ask for more than you actually want, so
you give the buyer 'leeway' in negotiating the price. Knowing all along you
would have taken less to start with. Obama does that on ALL issues. We are
outraged at 'how much' they are asking and demanding. All the while he didn't really want 'all' he was asking for, just part of it. Or 30%. He still wins. WE NEED TO SAY LEAVE ALL OF HEALTHCARE ALONE. Remember he only wants to get his foot in the door. He knew all along he would not 'immediately' be able to takeover all of the healthcare system. But in 'increments'.....he's not looking for the total takeover, oh, if he got great,but he wasn't expecting that. Hejust wants the FIRST increment to the government takeover of healthcare.

Those who voted they don't understand it are playing right into the Dem's game plan that you are just misinformed, frightened and confused.

By now it's hard to believe anyone here doesn't understand enough to realize it's core goals give me a breck.

I as confused by it AS THEY ARE... but I am not confused by my dislike for it, AND THE FACT THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO SLIP SOMETHING IN THAT NONE OF US WANT.

I have no interest in turning the healthcare of Americans over the Federal Government. There is no doubt that we need tort reform and the 50 states govenment should under a mandage be required to meet with insurance companies to hammer progressive insurance reform for their citizens. Once programs are in place for a reasonable time, state officials charged with the health insurance responsibility should sit down with their peer's from the other states and talk about what is good and not so good about eachother programs. I feel certain that over a reasonable amout of time American's will have an effective and affordable health insurance program with no interference from the Federal Government. I am a believer in states right and the right of the individual; not at all impressed the Socialist leaning of our Congress, Senate and President and intend to have my opinion heard at the ballot box.

I don't understand their health care reforms. What I do understand is that there has to be a lot of our freedoms that will be gone if it it passed and they know that. So they want to get it passed before the full extent of the damage is known to all the voters. However, if it does pass with-out a full disclosure. I would expect that the ones who put it through, would be looking for another job just after the next election. Most voters cannot be duped by their senators and then return the dupers to congress

How can I be either for or against something I don't understand?

The Dems are very confused in their messaging. Pres. Obama has not offered them, or us, clear decisive explanations of a direction except to go make government bigger at all costs. And oh by the way, Congress should hurry at doing it before the people catch on. The only thing that is clear in their message is bigger and bigger government. No thanks!

The health care reform acts proposed by Congress are written and designed to be unreadable. You can not question that which you do not understand. The administrations idea of transparency is exactly the same concept. Promise change but do not specify what changes will be made. Progressive dems are in full control and have a plan of attack. Health care reform will be pushed through congress and then the Senate. They will use the 51 vote (Sen Bird finance) procedure. There is nothing we can do to stop this. The progressive movement is well organized and in control. The American voting public has fallen prey to a well designed and coordinated plan. I wonder who is behind Obama pulling the strings. After all, he is just a mediocre orator and block organizer. The power and money behind him is staggering. It's not his money or power is it? I digress. Greta, you must realize that Obama will never read line by line the bill in public. Why you ask? Because just like us, he doesn't understand it either. He hasn't a clue. Except for the public option because the Progressive bosses told him that it was important.

Read HR-3200, it is the anti constitution:
1. It eliminates your 1st Amendment right to contract and associate re health care.
2. It requires States to enact laws in favor of the bill affecting State sovereignty.
3. The IRS co-administers the Health Care program as enforcer. Affecting property rights and privacy.
4. There is wording in the bill creating a panel and criteria for restricting treatment, popularly known as the, DEATH PANEL.
Further, any representative at any level who supports any bill containing any measures usurping our unalienable rights, subordinating us to any entity or individual domestic or foreign has violated her / his oath of office has committed treason and should be removed from office and prosecuted.

I haven't had the patience to read all of the 1000+ page manifesto on the Dems dream on health care. What I have read makes it clear that they want nothing less than to not only control, but micromanage every aspect of our existence.

Couple ObamaCare with Cap & Trade and there will be nothing in your life that the Govt won't have it's sticky fingers in. From the time your born till the day you die, Big Brother will be directing your choices by limiting them. They will get to decide what treatments you can have, what car you can drive, and the type of home you live in. They think they know better than you what's best for you.

Everything this Admin is attempting is ILLEGAL. Every piece of legislation out of this Congress shreds the Constitution. They must be stopped.

I do not understand it, but, I think I understand it better than most of our representatives, and that is SHAMEFUL.

I understand it, the American People understand it that is why we are rejecting it. It's Congress that don't get it!

If history/government has shown the American people anything it's that the government on all levels doesn't get it right and is an extreme tax burden on society. I see it in my own small town in New Jersey where 85% of inhabitants are 55 years and older, it's that type of community, and we have a huge police force whereas 4 cars showed up for a minor vehicle accident. And that's why the folks in New Jersey will never see property tax relief, as all of these community governments want high priced kingdoms, and to insure re-election give as much as they can away to others who lack the will to get up and go work for it themselves.

I completely understand the Health Care Bill. Its not about "health". Its not about "care". It is all about control. No matter what BHO you will be forced into the government plan, as soon as your health plan changes, you change employers, etc. BHO is right, there are no death panels. There is however a panel of unelected bureaucrats headed by none other than the brother of the White Houses Chief of Staff, Ezekiel Emanuel, Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research and they were signed into law under the "Stimulus Bill". Hes right, the title isnt death panel. These are the guys that will say G-MA isnt paying taxes anymore, no pacemaker for her, giver her a painpill. If youre not MAD AS HELL, your simply not paying attention. WAKE UP AMERICA. The enemy is inside the gates.

What so hard to understand about a Chavez wantabe? This is not about healthcare otherwise HR3400 would be getting a good look at.

I understand much of it and I don't like what I see, but notice what is not in the plan.

Are there deductibles?
Are there max out of pocket costs?
Are there co-pays?
Are there pay percentages? i.e. 80/20 90/10
Are there limits?

Who in their right mind would sign up for a plan without knowing.

We "some" assume we will get 100% unlimited coverage, no matter what.

I think "some" assume to much.

If interested, anyone can go into READ, RESEARCH, INVESTIGATE, AND - 'read between' the lines'....and ultimtely ANALYZE, in multiangular way, this monstruosity of proposal.....you may find that the so called 'reform' vectorize promotional roads to ABORTION, EUTHANASIA, AND GENOCIDE. Strange right ?

The final result is but one thing, VIRTUAL COMPLETE STERILIZATION ON USA POPULATION.
