I am in the crimnial justice field and i love workign with juvniles and making them better sense there paretns are not around. I feel for the victums but not all those teens deserve to get long sentences. The 14 year old should not get 30 years just for the fact he cant own a home,bye cigs, drank,or even drive, and vote. I mean the justice system can put a 14 year old to 30 years come on dont agree at all with that. The other boyssould get 25 to life but thats it. They did not kill anyone at all, yea they raped a child and a mother, and i feel so bad for them but you still have to look at how young the youngest rapest was which is 14

Anyway all I know is that if. I was one of the rapist/burglar/kidnappers moms, I would kick my child out into the street and never speak to him agn. But judging the way these guys acted, they wr already living on the streets

Classic comment...kind of an oxymoron...You say the black community needs to rise up aginst this violence and then say why bother prosecuting??? You should be asking yourself...why would the NAACP offer to support these dirtbags?!?! Thank god some educated black people stood up for the VICTIM!! If I hear screams especially the blood curdling screams I'm sure these 2 victims let out I call the cops! PS: I lived in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn right on the boarder of Bushwick for 4yrs.

I don’t understand why these guys are even on trial?? This type of behavior is the “norm” in the community that these kids come from. Why do you think they don’t call the police when they see crime happening? When the police show up there are no witnesses, nobody saw anything….. As long as the black community supports and endorses “Thugery” as a way of life these kinds of things are going to happen over and over again. Why waste taxpayer money Prosecuting these guys when they kept their crime in their town where its OK to be a criminal??? “ITS 10:00PM DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR KIDS ARE”!!!
