I need desperately to trust someone in government. These are the people we must have faith in. We need these people to help us endure God forbid another attack. I am frightened by everything this New and Change administration has done so far. We are helpless. True the town halls are the voices of many. We need someone to hear us and I do believe that the Republican party better do something and quick. For now, I pray that someone will get to bottom of the left's thinking. I can't believe the biggest percentage is for Republican! I voted for "neither one." NEITHER ONE! We voted the Republicans into a firm majority in 2004. Ok, 2000 wasn't convincing, try this, 2004, Republican majority. Finally, I thought, we can get some things accomplished. Conservatives (who are the majority in this country whether some people like it or not) finally had their voice in the majority. But wait....and we kept watching and waiting and the Republicans did nothing. George W. Bush was not the conservative we voted for. The Republican congress betrayed us. They were so nice and bipartisan. All that work to put those jerks in the majority for NOTHING!

I cannot find anyone here in Jacksonville,Florida that knows when or where there will be a Town Hall Meeting here.This is a metropolitan city and even the smaller cities in other states have had them.What Senator is here to represent the people in Jacksonville,so we can have our say and ask the questions we want to ask?

neither dosent mean that someone cannot look at all the people runing and choose the most honest or decent one, or at least the one that has the best record for being honest. I beleive they all just say a lot of what they want us to hear then do what ever. I am neither party wet I try to listen and choose the best person. I am a registered Republican, but I am an American first. I want to know why in the name of God, out President, has surrounded himself with radical, racists, and nuts. I do not want to pay for these Czars. Especially when one in particular is a Communist. Everything Sean Hannity said during the campaign was true! We need to get these nuts out of our White House ASAP or we will not have a country.

I am a registered Rebublican. I frequently cross party lines to vote. I think it's time to get rid of all the long-term members of congress...both houses...both parties. Both of my senators are long-term Republicans, 2 of our three house members are Republican. I am actively campaigning in my state to get rid of the long term members. I repeatedly contact my senators and representative, and I get back form letters telling me how complex the issues are...basically patting me on the head. I am NOT a one issue voter or a one party voter. Our newest house member...first term, is a breath of fresh air...I hope we return him to office. I get back replies from him showing he actually read my letter with no patronizing languange.

Now, as for me, I like most of what's going on. Health care is Very important to many of us & it has just been a background issue for way too many years. Congress needs to get the insurance and the pharmaceutical companies out of the process. They represent only 1 thing and that is money. Either give every citizen in the country the same plan as all Federal employees & Congress or give everyone Medicare.

Many years ago, a local TV station did a poll. They used the actual ballot and inserted a name that had been in the news. This was a City Council election, I think. Anyway, when all the "votes" were counted, the criminal who had committed murder was the winner. The pollster requested each participant to
