It wouldn't affect my opinion at all. In fact, I wouldn't even realize it: I don't watch shows I don't like, therefore I don't know what advertisements are on shows I don't like.

If I'm watching a show to watch a show, I won't really care/notice the ads. Much like what Melly stated, if the ads are replaced, we won't notice. If I don't watch the show, I couldn't care less. If I actively evade the show, or have a dislike of it general, then I might be happy to hear that advertisers are pulling out.
However, if I were running the show I'd notice. Advertisers are specifically stating they don't want their product associated with content I'm providing. No matter how different the product might be to the show's content, that speaks volumes.

I probably wouldn't notice unless it was publicized. However, the fact that an advertising company is aware of its affiliations' values and how those values may affect their company is a very important thing. Knowing that they cared enough to withdraw support from an affiliation that I also find questionable is enough for me to consider doing business with them.
"How much does a company pulling ads from a program you don't like alter your opinion of the company? "
Your pole is flawed. Who cares about ads on a program we "DONT LIKE". If we dont like the program, that would tend to make you think that you are not watching the program, thus ads are of no consequence.
But for me, personally, I think ALL ads should be pulled. Lets create an unconstitutional TV Csar that will decide what comercials are good for the company... oh, wait, if we did that, they would not allow shows like GB to even be broadcast and would trample all over our freedom of speech.
Bah.... 3 more years and our country can be set strait (providing it still exists as is....). Or will it be the Independent States of America, with the country of Texas leading the way under Texan President Chuck Norris.

I'm more aware of news reports about ad pull-outs than I am of the actual missing ads. If the shows had to place a 10-second "pulled ad" black-out, that would be noticeable! Otherwise, replacing a Verizon commercial with a Toyota commercial doesn't compel a second thought.
I think people are unaffected when advertisers pull out. There are so many advertisements on everything that it's un-noticeable. A 2hr movie on tv contains abour 45 minues of ads. John DeFlumeri Jr

Diversity Now! (Unless you disagree)
New motto of the left.
