Who emerged victorious from the row between pharmacists and the HSE?



The HSE and Mary Harney. They stuck to their guns, and the pharmacists capitulated.

The pharmacists. They succeeded in heightening public awareness of the effect the cuts will have on them, and have a better chance to negotiate a new deal.

This dispute had no winner, but vulnerable patients were certainly the losers.
