What do you think of Miley's pole dance?

Wow, Miley Cyrus is a teen who will make way bigger mistakes than this. She held it for balance and did ONE dip! Young kids didn't even notice the mistake. This was a great subject for the tabloids. But from what we have seen.. WHAT DO THE TABLOIDS KNOW? Setting aside the obviously truthful facts like Mr. Jackson is dead, sadly. I have no doubt that you little angel will be grinding and dancing on a pole like every other young girl in modern times. Miley Cyrus was just acting her age. And now-a-days the 15 is the new 22. Peace out!

I think people should actually watch the performance before they start gossiping... I finally watched it and obviously it is not a pole dance like previously stated its a balance issue....

Next she'll be giving up her kids smashing in a car window with an umbrella and ruinin not only her life but her kids too. How many britney spears do we have to see mess up? I guess it has to be your daughters first.

The only thing I found offensive is that she makes big $ for that "singing"! The dance was perfectly innocuous. Anyone who thinks otherwise must have a really dirty mind (& a fertile imagination).

    Miley is just lost

I agree with you guys. Get a life or just go to a strip club and see what pole dancing really is.

OK, I'm a Mom of 4 girls age 21 to 9. Miley is a talented singer and dancer and my 9yr old is a big fan. This was NOT a "Pole Dance" by any stretch of the imagination! She was holding on to the pole for balance ONLY while the cart was moving. As soon as it stopped, she let go and stepped off.
Anyone thinking otherwise has their mind firmly in the gutter!!
Leave her alone and find something really disturbing to gripe about. I have no problems with her or with my daughter watching her perfomances.

These groups need to either get a life or watch a talented performer! Also I know we have all seen worst outfits in the mall. So please " GET A LIFE THAT DOESN'T INCLUDE MILEY"

Her singing was the worst....she'd never survive auditioning for a reality talent show. Her shorts were short for a girl her age considering who her audience is but her parents have been pimping her out for quite a while so I'm not shocked....No.

GIVE THE GIRL A BREAK---------THAT WAS FAR FROM A "POLE DANCE" --GET YOUR PROSPECTIVES IN ORDER -THE GIRL IS IN THE SPOTLIGHT LET HER ENJOY IT WITHOUT ALL THE CRITICISM----I GIVE HER ALOT OF CREDIT SHE HAS HELD HER HEAD HIGH AND DEMANDS RESPECT -- FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT CANNOT RECOGNIZE HER TALENT-----GET A LIFE

Ok. I'm a male who is over 35. I have no interest in Miley Cyrus, and watched the video only to see what the fuss was about. Anybody who calls this performance a pole dance should get a life, or visit an adult club to see what real pole dancing looks like [in that order]. People, the girl was holding onto the bar for balance, she was NOT pole dancing.

She knelt ONE time and even then she was careful not to put the pole between her legs. She hung on to the poll when they were pushing the cart for balance." I'm sure she felt silly the whole time she was performing the routine. I was a bit bored with the whole thing [I AM an adult and this is NOT my scene after all]; but, I watched the whole routine to make an informed judgment. If you thought this was a sexy dance; then you are the person with the problem!!!

As far as the sex thing goes; I was not a virgin by the time I was 17, I was experimenting LONG before I "got some." Does my statement make you uncomfortable? Then you are being silly. You did it, your parents did it, your grandparents did it, and so will your children when the time comes [YES I do mean before they are officially legal of age.]

In summary, I am not a fan of Ms. Cyrus; however, Ms. Cyrus is growing up. She is NOT going to be a mouseketeer forever and neither will your child. Deal with it, grow up, and move on ;)
