Is it fair for Fort Lauderdale to reprimand a plumbing inspector because he failed to tell on his boss for sending him scores of inappropriate e-mails?



Yes. In fact, I think he should have faced more severe discipline.

No, I think he was the victim in this case. His boss was spamming him.

Yes, I think a written reprimand is fair and appropriate. He should have taken the problem to his boss's boss.
