What is the correct method for making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?

The peanut butter and jelly should be layered on the same piece of bread

The peanut butter goes on one slice of bread while the jelly goes on the other slice of bread

None of the above

Dude. I don't even eat peanut butter (I hate it), but I know that the correct way is to put a little peanut butter on each slice than layer the jelly on one of them and put it together. The PB on both slices keeps the jelly from smooshing through the bread.
