If your member of Congress held a local town hall meeting or public forum where voters have a chance to speak, how likely is it you would attend?

I really feel the need to express a resoned arguement - there are so many crazy opinions drowning out what the voices of reason.

This is indeed government spending but it is targeted to provide us vital and beneficial services. Where was this outrage when we were (are) spending Billions on an un-necessary war? !!!

I would attend and express my concerns in whatever method would demand their attention and let them listen for a change. Allowing the rep to do the talking only increases the discuss we have for the current political mode of operation. Many issues require action now. The "clunkers" deal. Why do we allow this money to go to foreign firms rather than American Made Vehicles. After all, we gave the American Automakers money to help them out. Why not demand this additional money go to American Auto Makers.
The current control seems to act and think later. We've had enough !

As long as the town hall meeting remained civil, yes, I'd love to attend. If you are yelling and screaming, you can't possibly be listening. This renders the meeting useless.
On the other hand, we have one and half senators who don't give a damn about Florida citizens and I have a Rep that doesn't even live in Florida. Not likely a meeting of this sort would take place.
