I'm becoming more and more convinced that they don't read the submissions, and just pick rndom entries. When I start seeing a caption contest that seems like they don't even the submissions, I'll stop waisting my time and energy to enter.

Okay, Impostal, maybe I'm a little slow on the uptake, but when was there ever a limit set on how many submissions one person can make. Coyote is an idea machine. Try to get over it.

One more thing, has anybody out there won the caption contest and been stiffed for their prize? I have yet to receive mine from Nicole from nearly three weeks ago. Disappointing, as I have already bought the frame:(

Dale, some times she gets it to you within a week or so and sometime it takes a month. The big thing is did you get her email asking for your address and did you respond to it?

Brian, I have not given up on it yet. Just never had a lag time like this before. Really not that big of a deal. It takes a lot to become a finalist in the first place, let alone getting the win. It would be nice to get the "prize" that was promised. I jumped through all of their hoops. Address, ETC.

Brian, I call it like I see it. 33 captions submitted is quite alot. After reading them I would call that pollution. I've submitted, placed and won here before for quite some time now. I only suggested another site I've found if anyone is interested. If you don't like it I could care less.

Dale keep your chin up, love your submissions :) Impostal there is no limit to what can be submitted, there will always be only 3 at the end, if you don't like it, *yawn*

I don't like to pollute. I usually recycle, especially during these hard economic times. I do like to post captions though. Some may be funny and some may not be, I guess it all depends on the reader and a persons sense of humor. I could have done more than 33 but I don't have the time. Can't we be like Rodney King and try to all get along? Just have fun. I've never won this caption site but I have made the top 3 several times. Once, I had two out of the three and still didn't win. I'm not complaining, just stating a fact. If you don't want to read my captions, you don't have to. I'm just trying to win like everyone else is. I hold no grudges and make no excuses. I personally know none of you but I try to treat all with respect. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Have fun and keep the captions coming!

You're all 100% right. Submit as many as you can, the more captions I place ahead of will make me feel less bitchy and disgruntled.

Wow take a day away from looking at the comments and even Steve comes back out of hiding with 2nd grade innuendoes (I think he's just jealous, Dale). As for Impostal, sorry to say but you will never see any list of who you finish ahead of unless you make the finals, all the rest are just listed in order of when they were received, so you're stuck being your natural self until then. Will have to see about coffee, Dale. Just depends on schedules and with Poly coming back into session again mine's going from busy to erratic :) Keep plugging way!
