How many of us will be able to afford these vehicles? Only the ones that can will benefit from all these monies being spent for this.

The funds used to generate electric vehicle batteries supports infrastructure and makes production increases. Basic economics: More supply --> cheaper product --> more demand (people can afford cheaper products) --> more supply

Those little cars won't be saft to ride in, won't have much protection and will
crush easily. How much energy is it going to take to charge the battery
every day?? Thousands of batteries every day?? Most people can't afford
them and how comfortable are they to ride in ??
