Their My Family, and they are the nicest people anyone will ever meet.
They did'nt mean too, and now all of the family including them, have to deal with loosing John and then having Richard & Brooke getting sent to jail for 30 years. They have other kid's could you imagine being put in this situation,
Because if it was anyone in you'r family I think you'r judgements would change quickly.

Ally, They are our friends and I apprecatie your comments. To the others, you do not have all the details. Rick is a good man..do not be so quick to judge without all the facts..Prayers are needed...not your judgement.

How quickly we are to judge. This people may have just made a mistake. They are young parents and we don't know the particulars of their situation to cast judgement. They have a young family and we know how the media tends to exagerate and publicize things in a way that it is going to sell newspapers. Losing a child is by far the most horrible experience a person can endure. Countless of people loose their children even if just for 30 minutes, enough time for anything to happen, and many more bring their children into the ER for accidents on a daily basis...you don't see the media making such a big to do about it. How about putting ourselves in these people's shoes and grieve with them as parents who lost the newest member of their planned and wanted family.
My prayers and most heartfelt deepest compassion and sympathy go out to this family. I'm so so so sorry for your loss.

As a mother I always check on my kids, even if I know for sure that they are in the house. Since the baby was only 3 months old you would think that they would have to come in the house and take the baby out of the car seat and lye the baby in a crib or something other than a car seat. A mother with a newborn baby should always check on her baby every few minutes. At least I did. I think it is neglet and yes I could only imagine losing one of my children but for irresponsible parents should have some type of punishment other than loss of their baby.

Panic, sheer panic can lead someone to dishonesty. Sad but, true. The father should be charged with false statements and the mother should be left to mourn and pick up the peices. Their lives will NEVER be the same! Their other children lost a sibling and need the strength of their parents to move forward. Life has changed forever for this family and their families.

These people were probaly trying to get rid of this baby and the best way to try to play dumb was "oh i thought you took the baby". and with the way the econnomy is they probably thought it will be a good idea to leave the baby in the car.
