As a former Senior Nurse of a Large CCU, Lots of Junior Doctors come with pre- expectations that they should be a panacea of knowledge and answers. In my experience, the good Clinician will always ask for help. "I don't know but I will get someone who does" is always a good consideration when in your first ward and for all of your career. Please ask the Ward Sister or Charge Nurse for help, on your first placement we are anticipating it! and really do want to help!
