Would you support a government operated health care system?

This poll is very flawed! Pres Obama is proposing a gov't run healthcare system, they are proposing a tax-subsidised gov't healthcare option! Bigggg differrence! Unfortunately the lies and propaganda from Republicans deceive people believe that it is socialist-style healthcare that is at issue! Health insurance companies amd drug comapnies have been making hand-over-fist off of everyone and are bankrupting the middle class! But who do their lobbyists are bribing to keep gov't healthcare off the table? Republicans and so-called conservative action groups, to deceive into rejecting a gov't option that will help everyone obtain coverage, save everyone money, and take customers away from greedy insurance companies!

But who are the insurance company lobbyists in cahoots with? Republican politicians - to keep gov't subsidized healthcare off the table! Republicans politicians and so-called conservative action groups - are out to deceive the public into rejecting a gov't option that will help everyone obtain coverage, save everyone money, and take customers away from greedy insurance companies! Stock for many healthcare companies have been dropping since this bill has been proposed! Insurance companies hate affordable competition. They love the status quo! Republican politicians are being bought by the lobbyists of insurance and drug companies! Republican politicians hate raising taxes on the wealthy so that the middle class (you, me, and 75% of the public) can benefit!

I don't believe this flawed poll for a second: the far right is well connected (and often retired) so get all of their friends to visit the site and vote no. The rational person knows this is a needed step to improve the lives of everyday Americans.

My wife and I are both very active at age 70. She just had a full knee replacement. It would be unfair to the older generation to be told that becauseof your age you are inelegable for needed medical procedures, to just learn tolive with it.

Obama needs to set his priorities straight and get people back to work. I feel job loss is much more important an issue than trying to change something that doesn't need changing.

Didn't you listen to the Press Conference you just broadcast? He isn't proposing that the Government run the ENTIRE Health Care System. Your question is horribly biased and will result in meaningless results.

If you think it's not going to be universal health care you have not done your homework. I did an interview with this news station today so please watch and keep an open mind if you are for this health care...there is an answer, but it's not an easy one and requires all sides to help. Remember "the grass is always greener on the other side". There is NO reason we can't make changes with the socialized programs we have!

Are you all of you free loaders deaf and dumb? Have you EVER been denied emergency room care? NO? Of course not---it's against the law to refuse to give needed care. There are health clinics that are full of illegals and those who are not insured. The government has no business telling Doctors who and what they should treat! Just ask a Canadian how they like Socialized medicine! And yes---this is EXACTLY what Obama wants---Socialized Medicine---a Socialized country instead of a free Capitalistic country---capitalistic meaning---free to open your own business w/no cap on how much money you can make, etc. You want a Government run country? Take a trip to Cuba and see how they live! you have no idea of what we have here compared to other oppressed countries! One more comment! Do you think Obama , the House and the Senate and their families are going to submit/commit themselves to the same health care that they are proposing for us? If they will be covered under the same health care they are proposing for us, I will accept it!
