This is an illegal tax and should not be passed.We should not have to pay for the jefferson county commissions stupidity because they have already put the county in bankruptcy in the case of the sewer scandal and now they want tax payers to pay for this illegal tax . I think they should give up their salary for a year or better yet Sheila and Betty do the right thing and step down before any more damage is done to the county.
YES, AN ILLEGAL TAX....the county will eventually declare bankruptcy and we will be bankrupt ---and then we will be forced to continue paying this ILLEGAL TAX so the county commisioners can squander it.
THE TAX SHOULD BE REINSTATED, AND THEN ALL THE LEGISLATIVE BUMS SHOULD BE VOTED OUT. THE FATE OF THE COUNTY SHOULD NOT BE IN THE HANDS OF SELF SERVING PEOPLE LIKE THIS. THE CONSTITUTION SHOULD BE REWRITTEN.
