animals need alot of help.
when do animals become classified as endangered?
The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) considers an animal endangered when its population decreases dramatically over 10 years or 3 generations (whichever is longer), or when its range is severely minimized or fragmented, or when its population numbers less than 250 mature individuals (or more than that, but with other factors indicating an imminent decline). There are other more specific factors and conditions that the IUCN will consider to determine an animal's risk for extinction.
