Only watching CBS because its the only hidef network I can get.
Even BET covered the news conference. I didn't know that station "did" news conferences.
I watched the News Conference on NBC and MSNBC respectively. I thought the President gave an excellent performance. I'd give him a perfect 10 out of 10. Health Care is a very difficult issue. Our President handled all the questions expertly. He also went a long way in explaining the semantics surrounding the issue to average Americans.
As I watched President Obama, I had to smile as my thought just flashed back to the previous President and I started to imagine what it would be like if Bush did a press conference on Health Care. Imagine how disastrous that would have been. I think it's a true blessing that we have someone as capable as Obama in the White House. In times like these, we have to count our blessings and be grateful for what we have.
Thank you President Obama and God bless you.
What is everyone talking about this morning??? Healthcare?? Obama's enlightening so-called news conference? No - the topic of conversation on every network, talk radio, the internet and papers is Henry Gates vs. Cambridge Police. That's because Obama said NOTHING that was important or informative about his healthcare initiative. Everyone agrees something needs to be done, but to think it can possibly be done in a few weeks, when it hasn't been done in the last 70 years is simply idiotic. Why does this figurehead of a president get all the air time he wants when he does nothing but lie in our faces every time? The American people are not that stupid to believe all his lies, lies and more lies.
Why does BO want to pass health care in less time than it took him to pick a pet puppy.
And when will BO request prime time to apologize to the Cambridge police? Or has he not yet seen the police report?
