I started out with a FEW twitter accounts, basically one for each site or client I was setting up and have recently realized that it's pretty time consuming, you end up with some of the same followers on all of them and it splits your effort of building a solid relationship with your followers. Still not down to 1 but have consolidated the 5 I had into 3 personal - biz - local We'll see how it goes.
I was thinking about opening another account on Twitter and decided not to do that. Why? Because the one way or another there are people who share some interests in the Internet Marketing.
I was researching through the different fields of interests and found that people by one way or another are involved in Internet Activities nevertheless they started from "Weight Loss" or "Dog Training". Most of them are more than happy to learn something new about Internet Marketing, List Building, PPC, etc and I do not see any reason to send this information to the audience which is united strictly under the IM flags.
